NOSPlan Partnership
The Division established a formal partnership with NOSPlan in December 2024, marking a significant milestone in its efforts to collaborate with emerging talent in the field of urban planning. NOSPlan, an acronym for the National Organization of Students of Planning, is a dynamic, student-led organization that unites planning students from a wide range of colleges and universities across India. This partnership symbolizes a mutual commitment to nurturing innovation, fostering knowledge exchange, and providing students with a platform to engage in meaningful academic and practical pursuits.
Central to this collaboration is the recently signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), which meticulously outlines the roles, responsibilities, and expectations of both parties. The agreement serves as a blueprint for a series of collaborative initiatives, the first of which is a joint Research Article event. This event, a highlight of the partnership, will be conducted during the 26th Annual NOSPlan Convention—a prestigious gathering that brings together planning students, academicians, and professionals to discuss contemporary challenges and opportunities in urban planning and design.
